♦♦ Basalt Overview

 

    Basalt is a common basic volcanic rock, mainly composed of pyroxene, plagioclase and a small amount of olivine, formed in the rapid cooling process after a volcanic eruption. Features include:

 

    1. High hardness (Mohs hardness 6-7), high compressive strength (200-350MPa);

    2. Strong wear resistance, compact structure, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance;

    3. The colors are mostly dark gray and black, and some contain porous structures (can be processed into porous filter materials).

    4. After crushing and sand making, basalt can be used for concrete aggregate, asphalt mixture, railway track subgrade, highway base/pad, chemical park floor, anti-corrosion pool lining, etc. Its high hardness and durability make it a high-quality building material.

♦♦ Fixed Production Line Configuration Plan

 

    1. Core equipment models and processes

 

    a. Coarse crushing stage

    Jaw Crusher: Recommended model: MC96 European Version Jaw Crusher (feed size ≤ 500mm, discharge opening adjustment range 50-175mm), adopts deep V-shaped crushing chamber design, with large processing capacity and not easy to block, and wear-resistant jaw plate extends service life.

 

    b. Medium and fine crushing stage

    Cone Crusher: CS420 or PSGB0917 are optional. The hydraulic system supports iron protection and discharge port adjustment. The lamination crushing principle reduces needle-like particles and ensures uniform particle shape of the finished product.

 

    c. Sand making stage

    Impact Sand Making Machine: VSI7611 or 5X7615 is recommended. It adopts the dual modes of “stone hitting stone” and “stone hitting iron”. The movement parameters are optimized to increase the throughput by 30%. The finished sand particles are round (0-5mm) and reasonably graded, which is suitable for high-standard construction sand.

 

    d. Screening and auxiliary equipment

    Vibrating Screen: Model 3YK2160 or 2YK2460, multi-layer screen design can realize the classification of finished products of multiple specifications (such as 0-5mm, 5-10mm, 10-20mm).

    Conveyor Belt: Several conveyor belts are configured according to the site layout to connect various equipment units.

 

    2. Applicable scenarios and advantages

 

    Advantages: high stability, large processing capacity (can be expanded to higher capacity), and low overall cost.

    Applicable Scenarios: fixed sand and gravel plants or long-term operation projects with stable raw material supply.

    1. Auxiliary equipment

 

    Vibrating Feeder: such as GZD-750×2500, feeds evenly to avoid overloading the equipment.

    Sand Washing Machine: XS3016 wheel sand washing machine can be selected to improve the cleanliness of finished sand.

    Dust Removal System: Equipped with a spray device and a sealing cover, meeting environmental protection standards.

 

    2. Selection points

 

    Wear-resistant materials: Roller skins, plate hammers and other wearing parts must be made of high chromium alloy or manganese steel to extend the replacement cycle.

    Power matching: The motor power needs to be adapted to the processing capacity, such as the power of VSI7611 sand making machine is about 110kW.
